Back from Tioman in conjuction with Project Aware

My dive buddy and I (perfect match?)

Just came back from my dive trip in Tioman, not a bad experiance and plenty of fishes over there. Even under the jetty are full of tiny little fishes....im talking about hundred of thousand of em swimming together. The 1st impression for me when i saw such a big school of fish is, holly mamamia they look like "Leong Fun" ( Cincau) wahahahaaha. The resort not bad, clean room and spacious, food is good and they even have a waterfall at the back of the resort. Too bad I didnt have a chance to have a dip in it.

And guess what ? The island is duty free~~~!!!!!!.........Hell ya, can drown yourself with beers and liquour all night long. Besides that the island is smokilicious, cause they still sell Dunhill Lights at RM 4.20 wahahahaah. As for those shopping freak, too bad nothing much to buy here.

During one of our trip, after our dive at some tiny island. Like usual, Im always the 1st one who ran out of air. So we have to ascend and get on board the dive boat. While we are on board, we gather up with the other dive members. I sense something is going on through their facial expression. Something is not right, so after I take off all my gears I approached one of them.

I was so shock and sad when i came to know that they actually witness a foreign diver from another dive team ( thanks god its not one of our member) struggling for survival as his dive buddy trying to save him. They said they when he surface with his dive buddy, he is already shaking all over. They conducted CPR but cant save him. We dont know the cause of death, maybe its because of Lungs Expension and blowed up his lung when he surfaced too fast. For the whole afternoon my mind keeps on imagining the moment he struggle for his life. Just so sad nia to see a diver died.

The sun starts to set and we head back to the island for dinner. The dinner was great, after our dinner we did some chit chatting. I starts to put away the incident of the dead diver which happend that afternoon until one of our fren bring out the topic again. -_-. This is where I feel like " Wat DaFcuk, dengz, fcukshit arghhhhh dulan" the diver actuallyis not dead. He and his team of divers are actually taking Rescue Course. -_- (sienz jor). But deep inside im glad also cause no one actually died. Phew Anyway, Tioman is a good dive site.

Planning for my next destination now which is on November......Kaleebso here I come. Heard many stories about you, good one and even bad one too. Curiousity seems to struck me and the urge to set foot on you seems overwhelming. I must see and leave my foot prints on you, mighty Kaleebso. Heard before Kaleebso? been before Kaleebso? what is Kaleebso? wanna know about it?Then.......... JOIN US IN THE NEXT EPISODE OF THE........ Adventure with the X-FOOLS~~!!!!!

Certified PADI Diver at last~~~~!!!!!!!!!

I just obtained my PADI diver's license and hell ya im happy about it. Did a couple of dive's in redang last month and the experiance is superb. Swim around the fishes, breath underwater, get the chance to be up close with marine lifes. Anyway im going for my second trip for diving again but this time is in Pulau Tioman with Jane. Ohh yeah we took our license together ahaha. And guess what she is my dive buddy and my Gf. Perfect huh... :P.

During our previous dive I got the chance to touch a life and wild Sting Ray. That fella just lay flat on the floor and let us touch him. And I like night dive the most, although its dark but we are equiped with underwater torch. The feeling is totally diffrent and saw alot of nocturnal sea creatures too. The most unforgetable moment is when I saw a sea turtle having its dinner. It was such a beautiful creature, swimming gracely in the water. When we off all of our torch, and wave our hand in the water.....something special happend in that pitch dark water.

We saw tiny plankton actually glows....just like little tiny fire flies (just that its in the water). I guess they call em Bioluminescence. Cant wait for my second dive trip to Tioman and like all divers like to say " I think Im running out of Nitrogen"... :)

But I was actually sad during 5th of September. It is because a loveable Naturalist passed away. I have been watching Steve Irwin's programs for a long time and I really like his works. Although sometimes he is like playing a fool with the animals. But deep down inside he really make a huge changes in how people see such animals like Crocodile (His favourite animal), snakes and so on. It is a great lost for such a good person to die in such a tragic accident.

Anyway, its not the Sting Ray's fault because normally this creature they are passive and if they attack, they are just trying to defend themself. So to those Ausies out there, please stop killing sting rays. I dont think Steve will agree you guys doing such things to revenge his death. I think he would like us to continue his work to protect any living creatures so that they wont get extinct due to human cause.

As for me, I will continue doing my part and my activites for Marine Conservation Projects, and maybe organise another voluntery work in Zoo Negara to educate people about these animals. Okay thats all for now....and rest in peace Steve, your work and all your efforts are not worthless.
